Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Property Tax Consulting Intern. As an intern, you will assist our experienced consultants in performing property assessment reviews and providing tax consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Tax Managers and Directors in the assessment review process, including representing clients during appeals and hearings with local taxing authorities.
  • Prepare reports and analyses supporting our position for taxing authorities; review and submit periodic status reports to clients; prepare Letters of Findings for clients.
  • Attend on-site inspections of client properties to gather information and assess property values.
  • Assist in scoping and developing customized solutions for new and prospective clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on property tax legislative, judicial, and administrative developments.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational, research, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and deadlines.
