Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and laboratory results
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based clinical practices

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
  • Board certification in Hospital Medicine or related specialty
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
