Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our Laboratory team at Western Montana Clinic. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality health care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform microscopic examination of cytologic specimens, assessing cell characteristics utilizing standardized nomenclature.
Prepare tissues and other samples for staining using histological and cytological techniques.
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing special equipment and microscopes.
Use lab computer for entering results and maintains records in accordance with CLIA.
Perform adequate quality control to ensure optimal patient care and to ensure CLIA QC requirements are met.
Maintain detailed records of specimens received, billing, and tissue/cytology results.
Work independently and with team members.

Requirements:

Certification with ASCP
Qualified as a cytotechnologist per CLIA regulation (42CFR
Minimum one year clinical internship or clinical training
