Respiratory Therapist - II

Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient pulmonary care in our chronic hospital and to other patients of the Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.

About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient pulmonary care in the chronic hospital and to other patients of the Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve their respiratory function
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • MDBPQA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • RRT
