Job Details

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the NICU unit at a hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to critically ill neonates in the NICU.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • RRT certification and licensure in the state of VA.
  • At least one year of experience in the NICU setting.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory therapies and modalities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
