About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association OR be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHA.
  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
