We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a Wound Care Nurse Supervisor at Atrium Health Charlotte. This is a leadership position that requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the management team to ensure seamless operations in the Wound Care Department.
- Assist with the selection, development, and retention of staff, as well as performance appraisal and performance improvement activities.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements and maintain clinical and professional competency.
- Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to gain insight into patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction.
- Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers and assists in identifying expected outcomes to provide direction for continuity of care.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
- Minimum two years nursing experience, with previous management experience preferred.
- BSN required, with RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date.
- BLS required per policy guidelines.
