Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to children, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language development, articulation, voice, oral motor, feeding, and delayed receptive and language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning and provision of speech and language therapy services
  • Perform diagnostic and evaluative testing
  • Present well-constructed reports related to completed assessments and observations of students
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation for speech and language services
  • Maintain records of treatment and data of IEP objectives for students being served
  • Participate in screening and identification of students
  • Meet with parents and advise them of their child's areas of need and progress of development
  • Make recommendations for the level and frequency of services as related to areas of need in the IEP
Requirements
  • Licensure is required of all Speech-Language Pathologists in the State
  • Eligibility for Licensure
  • Master's Degree
  • Clinical Practicum
  • National Examination in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Temporary Licensure Available for CFY Candidate

Standard Requirements
  • Favorable Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check for the candidate who is offered employment
  • Tuberculin Test and physical
  • Mandatory Direct Deposit of paycheck
