Patient Safety Quality Improvement Specialist

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks a skilled Patient Safety Quality Improvement Specialist to assist in the functions of and furthers the mission of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Direct involvement in improving the quality and safety of care through risk assessment and quality improvement techniques.
- Data review, manipulation and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Skilled facilitation using quality improvement methodologies to improve patient safety.
Clinician with a Bachelor's degree in clinical specialty required. Master's degree in a health care related field desired. In lieu of education, experience will be considered.
A minimum of 5-10 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting is required. Additionally, 3-5 years experience in clinical risk management, quality improvement, or patient safety improvement in a complex healthcare environment is necessary.
BenefitsThis position does not require on-call duties.
Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and location.
