We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Lady Lake Specialty Care Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting a safe and supportive environment, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
- Assist with ambulation and transfer of residents, using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
- Record resident vital signs, weights, and measurements, as assigned.
- Participate in collecting data for the accurate completion of the MDS and plan of care.
- Provide input to the nurses for development of the plan of care.
- Prepare residents for meals and transport them to the dining room, as needed.
- Keep accurate records of food intake and output, as directed.
- Be alert for proper ventilation, temperature, light, and noise control.
- Take TPR (temperature, pulse, and rate), blood pressure, and weighing of residents, as directed.
- Promptly answer call lights and assist with other resident needs.
- Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Florida.
- Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
- At least one year of Skilled Nursing experience, preferred.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
