Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's operations and sector, along with a thorough knowledge of their system cycles and account balances relevant to your assigned duties.
- Grasp the objectives of the tasks at hand and the significance of the work being conducted.
- Execute detailed and analytical auditing procedures in designated areas.
- Create working papers that sufficiently document the tests conducted and the procedures followed to support the conclusions drawn.
- Maintain vigilance regarding the accurate and consistent application of accounting standards during audit processes.
- Aid in the formulation of financial statements and accompanying notes.
- Identify and document any control weaknesses or issues that require management's attention.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience (or busy seasons) in a public accounting environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, having completed all prerequisites to qualify for the CPA examination.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
