Your Role:
As an Automotive Service Technician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our guests' vehicles. This position is an excellent entry point into your career with Monro, where you will engage in a comprehensive training program from day one, preparing you for your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance, including brakes, suspension, tire installation, and scheduled maintenance.
- Obtain guest approval for repairs based on thorough diagnostics and maintain a clean work environment.
- Conduct detailed inspections on every vehicle serviced and execute necessary repairs.
- Safely test drive vehicles and utilize shop vehicles for inventory pickups as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to General Service Technicians.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Possession of a basic set of automotive tools.
- Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.
