Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense prescription medicines to the public, ensuring accurate and safe supply and labeling.
  • Supervise the preparation of medicines and maintain a register of controlled drugs.
  • Liaise with doctors and clinic managers to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Counsel and advise patients on medication use and potential interactions.
  • Oversee the ordering and storage of medical products and arrange delivery of prescription medicines as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with current pharmacy practice and new drugs.
  • Maintain accurate computerized records and manage staff supervision.
Requirements
  • Valid license to practice as a pharmacist in California.
  • Personal qualities that demonstrate concern for the welfare of patients and staff.
  • Current and valid CPR and First Aid certification.
