We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychology Specialist to join our team at HealthPartners. As a key member of our Department of Neurology, you will be responsible for providing expert neuropsychological assessment and evaluation services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of adults and geriatrics with a focus on neurodegenerative disease, including atypical dementias and movement disorders.
- Evaluate patients referred by neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, medical spine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and other specialties.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs of patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care and support.
- Participate in research and education initiatives within our robust scientist-practitioner neuroscience program.
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology or a related field.
- Completion of a supervised neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship program in accordance with the Houston guidelines.
- Licensure as a psychologist in the State of Minnesota.
- Two or more years of work experience after fellowship.
- Board certification, or board eligible, by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
- Special interest/expertise in neurodegenerative disease and early diagnosis of memory loss and movement disorders.
- Experience practicing as a neuropsychologist in a neuroscience medical setting, working collaboratively with specialty physicians.
