AirMed International is seeking a skilled Flight Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in accordance with Global Medical Response protocols and medical direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Use a systematic approach to guide patient assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Maintain clinical competence and continuing education for age-specific populations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare members to assess, provide, and evaluate patient care in various settings.
  • Attend meetings and educational offerings according to established guidelines.
  • Execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comply with safety standards to ensure safety of self, personnel, patients, and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT).
  • Minimum of three years of recent experience in adult/neonatal/pediatric critical and/or acute care settings.
  • Current American Heart Association certifications.
  • Current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification.
  • Transport Provider Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC) certification preferred.
  • Current passport and driver's license.
