Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. This role focuses on providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students with speech and language challenges and assess their eligibility for therapy services.
  • Design and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing the communication needs of each student.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, either individually or in group settings, to enhance their communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and communication proficiency.
  • Track and document student progress towards established goals, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for certification.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy.
