Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients with oral-motor and/or communication disorders secondary to developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide family-oriented services to patients and caregivers
  • Consult with other professionals, clinics, or agencies as needed
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in speech/language pathology or communication disorders or related
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • CPR certification
  • State license or eligible for state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and must be obtained within 12 months of hire to maintain employment at Cook
  • Current Texas driver license in good standing
