We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Expert to join our team at Gates Corporation. As a Material Science Engineer with expertise in Advanced Product Quality Planning, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and quality excellence in our manufacturing processes.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, from raw material supply to customer delivery. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and execute Quality Management Systems that meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans and processes to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain records of quality assurance activities, including audit reports, corrective actions, and customer feedback
  • Communicate quality assurance results and recommendations to stakeholders, including management, production teams, and customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a technical discipline, such as Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Automotive Industry Quality Management Standards (AIAG - APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
