Shrub Oak International School is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities and Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our campus and facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular maintenance inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
- Perform light carpentry, painting, and other tasks to maintain the appearance and functionality of our facilities.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of events and activities, including furniture and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of our facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance and upkeep of our campus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance.
- Licensed plumber and/or electrician preferred.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with multiple demands and deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Compensation$20/hour
