Job Title: Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Janesville Family Dental Care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our dental practice.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dental hygiene services to patients, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral health and hygiene. You will work closely with our dentists and other dental professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral health and hygiene.
  • Work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in dental hygiene.
Requirements:
  • Current dental hygienist license in WI and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
