Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Janesville Family Dental Care. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional oral health care and education to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to provide comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal oral health outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Participate in our hygiene mentor program to enhance your clinical skills and provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license in WI and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
