Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Jackson, Tennessee.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek, requiring 10-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of procedures, and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence
  • Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification
  • Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems
  • Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer
  • Independent decision-making skills
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees
