Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at CrossMed - Cath Lab. As a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for assisting physicians with interventional radiology procedures, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
