Job Title: Bilingual Education Teacher

Acero Schools Inc is seeking a dedicated and passionate Bilingual Education Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic journey of our students.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced teacher who can deliver high-quality instruction to students in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in language acquisition, cultural competency, and educational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement, and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence and social-emotional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in bilingual education, language acquisition, and cultural responsiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and Bilingual Education - Spanish (BSPA) endorsement.
  • Fluent in Spanish with the ability to instruct students in English and Spanish.
  • Cultural competency and ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
