Actalent is seeking a skilled Environmental Specialist to join their team in New York City. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections and monitoring to ensure environmental compliance, focusing on hazardous materials management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and monitoring to ensure environmental compliance
  • Manage remediation projects, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations
  • Perform soil and groundwater sampling to evaluate contamination levels and develop remediation strategies
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support regulatory compliance and project progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in environmental inspections and remediation monitoring
  • Proven experience with hazardous materials inspections and soil/groundwater sampling techniques
