**Job Summary**
As a key member of the Bosch Group Inc. team, the Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing assembly or sub-assembly operations on a belt assembly line. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assemble a variety of dishwashers or sub-assemblies of dishwashers on a belt assembly line to meet prescribed specifications.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work station.
- Perform all required job functions in a safe manner consistent with plant safety standards and report any problems immediately to the team leader or Department Supervisor.
- Meet or exceed time standards for the particular operation being performed.
- Perform required paper work such as quality checks, etc. for the particular operation being performed.
- Perform necessary material handling duties required by the operation.
- Perform any necessary line/product changes in accordance with the BOM or preventative maintenance required by the operation.
- Work together and communicate daily with fellow associates about operation and safety issues.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of sound manufacturing processes, plant safety and environmental regulations.
- The Labor Grade within this Job Classification is dependent on experience, knowledge, responsibility, performance, dependability and job complexity.
- Capable and willing to train others and accept that responsibility.
- Communicating effectively with all associates.
- Proficiency in all required positions in at least 2 work zones with complete training checklist and documented time studies.
- Capable of reading and understanding a BOM.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Manufacturing background in related departmental area.
- Basic measurement instruments and machine control knowledge if required for the working area.
