Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose automotive issues
  • Consult with the shop foreman or service advisor regarding repairs
  • Communicate any additional service needs to the service advisor
  • Coordinate work with the shop foreman
  • Provide labor estimates to the service advisor
  • Track repair time and keep the service advisor updated
  • Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation
  • Document client repairs thoroughly
  • Assist in training technician apprentices
  • Participate in company and manufacturer training sessions
  • Stay informed on factory technical bulletins
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal
Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED; or 1 to 3 months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses and Certifications

Valid Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License required.
