This position is located in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and is part of the Oklahoma Human Services team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Child Welfare team as a Child Welfare Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate allegations of child abuse or neglect and provide services to help families overcome barriers that put their children at risk.
- Preserve and strengthen protective capacities of parents to keep children safe in their own homes.
- Provide placements for children that meet their medical, educational, and physical needs.
- Return children to their homes as soon as possible and arrange permanent plans when return is not possible.
Requirements
- Completion of 90 hours from an accredited college or university, or 3 years of experience related to child welfare work, or a combination of education and experience.
- A bachelor's degree (in any field) to qualify, or one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
- A Master's degree, or a bachelor's degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist, or two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.

- Annual salary ranging from $37,000 to $43,000, depending on level and experience.

Travel Requirements
This position requires extensive travel, and you must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
State vehicles will be available for use to carry out the duties of the position.
