Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt and processing of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter receipts into the Oracle system and verify the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Review monthly PPM errors, determine root causes, and take corrective actions to minimize disruptions to our operations
  • Report damaged goods and shortages of goods, and input appropriate transactions to ensure timely resolution
  • File freight damage claims as needed to recover losses
  • Return damaged goods and input appropriate transactions to result in supplier debits
  • Receive service transactions as required to initiate payment for non-tangible services
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions from other department employees regarding problem-solving and exporting
  • Assist with material handling and delivery as required to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Competence in operating Oracle applications and other relevant software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred, but not required
  • Good attendance record and a strong work ethic
  • Forklift driver license and/or experience preferred
