Job Summary

Danfoss is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of information in our Oracle system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter receipts into the Oracle system and verify the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Review monthly PPM errors, determine root causes, and take corrective actions to minimize disruptions to our operations
  • Report damaged goods and shortages of goods, and input appropriate transactions to ensure timely resolution
  • File freight damage claims as needed to recover losses
  • Return damaged goods and input appropriate transactions in the information system to result in supplier debits
  • Receive service transactions as required to initiate payment for non-tangible services
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions from other department employees regarding problem-solving and exporting
  • Assist with material handling and delivery, as required, to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative to resolve issues
  • Competence in operating Oracle applications and other relevant software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred, but not required
  • Good attendance record and a strong work ethic
  • Forklift driver license and/or experience preferred, but not required
