We are in search of an Infrastructure Systems Architect who will:
Evaluate user needs, operational concepts, and overarching system designs to formulate system requirements specifications. Assess system requirements and lead design and development initiatives. Assist users in articulating requirements, recommend alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility assessments. Provide technical guidance for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Integrate new strategies, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Create technical documentation. Develop system architecture and design documentation.

Facilitate system development and implementation planning through the evaluation or preparation of systems engineering management plans and integration and testing plans.

Engage with government representatives regarding Systems Engineering technical aspects and associated challenges. Hold ultimate accountability for the technical integrity of work produced and deliverables related to the Systems Engineering domain. Communicate effectively with other program personnel, government representatives, and senior management.

  • Oversee system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that align with the established system architecture(s)
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.
  • Contribute to the creation of various systems engineering documentation such as Systems Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
  • Assist in the formulation of system requirements, functional requirements, and their allocation to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
  • Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that necessitate cross-discipline collaboration

Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance.

Essential Skills:
This role is part of our Architecture team, which is tasked with developing the Core Infrastructure to support our laboratory environments and operational software deployments.

Qualifications:
No prior experience is necessary. A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Five (5) years of Systems Engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
