Job Title: RN Emergency PRN Nights

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. As an RN Emergency PRN Nights, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
  • Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
  • Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees.
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participates in hourly rounding.
  • Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.

Requirements:

  • Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR. ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN.
  • 1 year of acute care experience.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice.
