Job Title: RN Emergency PRN Days

At Abrazo Health Network, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment for our nursing staff. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a PRN basis.

Job Summary:

The RN Emergency PRN Days position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients. Your expertise and experience will be essential in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in hourly rounding to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare team members as needed
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
  • CPR certification
  • ACLS certification (as applicable by facility/departments)
  • Minimum of 2 years of current Level III NICU experience (or equivalent)
  • Preferred experience in acute care or CVICU/ICU
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN degree
  • Certification in specialty area of practice
