Industrial Maintenance Technician

Sign-On Bonus: This position is eligible for a $1500 sign-on bonus.
Role Overview: The Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for a diverse range of predictive, preventative, and routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates or monitors basic machine shop equipment to identify issues and perform repairs.
- Conducts preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Dismantles equipment to access and replace faulty components.
- Examines used parts to assess changes in specifications.
- Adjusts operational parts of machinery and control instruments.
- Repairs or substitutes defective components, installs specialized functional and structural parts, and ensures proper lubrication and cleanliness of parts.
- Tests machinery performance post-repair.
- Sets up and utilizes lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair.
- Initiates purchase orders for necessary parts and machinery.
- Plans and organizes operations to assist in electrical panel assembly, providing input on controls, I/O, and layout.
- Collaborates with the engineering team on the design and implementation of automation projects.
- Performs repairs on electrical equipment.
- Maintains a tidy work environment and cleans up after maintenance activities.
- Follows all established safety protocols and procedures.
- Participates in the Project Improvement Team.
- Welds and fabricates as necessary for equipment or workstation repairs.
- Installs complex machinery and ensures precision alignment of equipment.
- Conducts inspections as required.
- Utilizes overhead lifts for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Operates industrial trucks or electric hoists for material handling.
- Implements lockout/tagout procedures and adheres to ARC flash safety standards.
- Submits daily shift reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Proficient knowledge in machine repair, PLCs, automation, and robotics.
- A collaborative team player with a strong customer service and safety focus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
