Position Overview: This role is eligible for a $1500 sign-on bonus.

The Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for a wide range of predictive, preventative, and routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates or monitors basic machine shop equipment to identify issues and perform repairs.
  • Conducts preventive maintenance on machinery.
  • Dismantles equipment to access and replace faulty components.
  • Evaluates used parts to assess dimensional changes.
  • Adjusts operational parts of machinery and control instruments.
  • Repairs or substitutes defective components, installs special functional and structural parts, and ensures proper lubrication and cleanliness of parts.
  • Tests machinery performance after repairs.
  • Sets up and operates lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair.
  • Initiates procurement orders for necessary parts and machinery.
  • Plans and organizes operations to support electrical panel assembly, providing input on controls, I/O, and panel configuration.
  • Collaborates with the engineering team on the design and implementation of automation projects.
  • Conducts repairs on electrical equipment.
  • Maintains a clean work environment and ensures cleanup after maintenance tasks.
  • Follows all established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participates in Project Improvement Teams.
  • Performs welding and fabrication as required for equipment or workstation repairs.
  • Installs complex machinery and aligns equipment precisely, including lathes, mills, and presses.
  • Conducts inspections as necessary.
  • Utilizes overhead lifts for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Operates industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in material handling.
  • Employs lockout/tagout procedures and adheres to ARC flash safety standards.
  • Submits daily shift reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledgeable in machine repair, PLCs, automation, and robotics.
  • A collaborative team player with a focus on customer service and safety.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
