We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Services Director to join our team at Prestige Care Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the health services department and ensuring that resident care needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement resident-centered care plans that promote dignity and respect for all residents.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure that resident care needs are met by coordinating services with other professionals, including physicians, nurses, and home health agency staff.
- Provide supervision and training to health services team members, including personal care and medication management.
- Manage the delegation of nursing tasks as allowed under applicable state nursing laws and practice acts.
- Oversee the documentation and communication of resident care and services, ensuring that resident records are completed in a timely manner and maintained according to company policies and state regulations.
- Participate in leadership team meetings and contribute to decision-making, incident follow-up, and company-wide initiatives.
- Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN or RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in geriatric nursing, medication administration, case management, training/staff development, budgets, and team management preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
