About the Role:
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services team at Fairview Health Services. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will provide direct patient care and assist in the coordination of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct perioperative patient care, prioritizing the physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being of patients.
- Assist in coordinating a plan of care based on patient needs and surgeon preferences.
- Collaborate with RNs, anesthesia personnel, and surgeons to identify and address patient condition changes.
- Participate in maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring optimal functioning of instruments and equipment.
Requirements:
- One year of operating room or similar scrub experience within the last five years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Eligibility to sit for the Certification of Surgical Technologist within one year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current or prior experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Graduate of a surgical technology program.
