Additionally, you will have the option to participate in ER call coverage.

Our internal medicine department is supported by a larger multi-specialty clinic structure, working collaboratively with 22+ physicians and 16 NP/PAs in various specialties, including pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, family medicine, otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery, and geriatrics. Consulting physicians are available in neurology, cardiology, and oncology, with ties to the University of Minnesota for access to University of Minnesota specialists for questions or phone consults. Our extensive outreach programs provide access to numerous subspecialists.

Together, we offer access to breakthrough medical research and specialty expertise as part of a continuum of care that reaches all ages and health needs. Our comprehensive health care network in northeastern Minnesota includes Fairview Range Medical Center, Fairview Mesaba Clinics (with locations in Hibbing, Nashwauk, and Mountain Iron), Fairview Range Home Care and Hospice, and Fairview Transportation Services.

Responsibilities/Job Description

As an Internal Medicine physician, you will manage complex patients, internal medicine patients, and provide consultant services to Family Medicine, Orthopedics, and Surgical patients.

  • Call Coverage: Call schedule is equitably shared, with ER call coverage optional.
  • Income Details: Initial market competitive salary guarantee with additional earning potential.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency training program.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible with the ABMS.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
