As a Universal Banker at Dexian, you will go beyond the basic banking transactions and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining client relationships. You'll be responsible for the adept handling of new consumer and complex business accounts, ensuring a seamless and beneficial banking experience. Your expertise in actively cross-selling and promoting Dexian's products and services will be crucial in achieving sales targets and fostering business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open new consumer and complex business accounts, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Process new account transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist clients in selecting accounts and financial services, offering personalized recommendations and solutions.
  • Cross-sell Dexian's products and services, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and close all account types, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Promote business for Dexian and maintain client relations, fostering long-term partnerships and loyalty.
  • Refer clients to relevant staff and partners for additional services, ensuring seamless integration and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with Dexian's policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Perform branch clerical duties, supporting the team and contributing to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of banking experience, with a focus on customer relationship management and account opening.
  • Advanced experience with opening consumer and complex business accounts, with a strong understanding of banking regulations.
  • Prior supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Strong customer relations skills, with a cooperative and positive communication style.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, including BSA and Information Security.
  • Strong judgment and ability to handle confidential information, maintaining a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and banking programs, with a strong understanding of technology and its applications.
