Healthcare Transportation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and punctual Shuttle Driver to transport patients and employees safely and efficiently to and from the university and parking. The ideal candidate will have a strong team player attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients and employees to and from the university and parking in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure the shuttle is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and employees, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work well under supervision and follow direction from supervisors as needed.
- Perform pre- and post-inspection activities to ensure the shuttle is in good working condition.
- Assist passengers with special needs, such as wheelchair lifts and tie-downs.
- Report any accidents or incidents to management in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- F or V Passenger Endorsement or Class P or S CDL.
- Must have an unexpired Medical Certificate.
- Must be able to submit and pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be at least 20 years of age.
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to meet the following MVR guidelines.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under supervision and follow direction from supervisors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
