About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Sbarro #5029. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in achieving restaurant objectives, including assigning, directing, and following up on activities of team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures to team members, ensuring all Company food safety procedures are followed and health/sanitation regulations are complied with.
  • Maintain safe working conditions by following and enforcing all Company safety, security, and maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor tasks performed by team members to ensure product quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and follow up with team members regarding food preparation and Company procedures to minimize food cost.
  • Monitor labor usage against sales and take corrective action where necessary.
  • Execute, train, and monitor proper cash control procedures.
  • Ensure proper training for team members through established training systems and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Assist the General Manager in ensuring compliance with all other Company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the General Manager with overall store operations, including monitoring operational systems, profit and loss statements, inventory, and employee scheduling.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age, minimum
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • 1 or more years of restaurant or supervisory experience, preferred
