Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing clinical practice, and participating in teaching and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient preferences and values.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents, promoting excellence in patient care and medical education.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a Family Medicine residency program and board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine.
  • Current Illinois medical license or license pending.
  • Active DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
