You will be part of a rapidly expanding general contracting company with a dedicated team of professionals focused on the planning and execution of data center construction throughout the United States.

Position Overview

  • The Senior Commissioning Lead is tasked with providing strategic direction and oversight on Mission Critical/Data Center initiatives. This role encompasses managing the commissioning process from initial phases through final delivery, ensuring a fully operational data center is handed over to the client.
  • Supervise the inspection process during commissioning to guarantee that all work is completed promptly, adhering to customer requirements and specifications.
  • Direct and manage the commissioning workflow on the project, including the start-up strategy, commissioning timeline, and functional assessments.
  • Oversee all necessary activities for project completion, including the preparation of operations and maintenance documentation, model handover, and staff training.

Is This Role Right for You?

  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience managing MEP scopes, ideally with a general contractor or mechanical/electrical contractor; experience in Mission Critical/Data Center commissioning is essential. Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with a track record of successfully leading, teaching, and mentoring others.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, understanding construction techniques and materials, along with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
