Job Summary

Summary: As a skilled Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso drinks to our customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve coffee and espresso drinks to customers, using standard measures and recipes.
  • Enter orders accurately into the POS system, accept cash and charge payments, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies, while maintaining the cleanliness of the service area.
  • Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
  • Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
  • Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
  • Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
  • Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
  • Provide excellent customer service, greet customers courteously, and interact in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently, and prevent delays in serving lines.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
  • Serve as an advocate of selling techniques to the customer by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision-making process.
  • Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards, and serve food neatly and attractively per standard.
