Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate and experienced CNA to make a meaningful impact on someone's life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing personalized support and care for clients with mobility assistance needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the client with personal hygiene, including bathing, skin care, and oral hygiene.
  • Provide physical assistance with transfers, positioning, and ambulation as outlined in the client care plan.
  • Assist the client with prescribed non-skilled exercises and provide guidance on proper technique.
  • Change bed linen as needed and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Prepare light meals and snacks during visits, if time permits.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining supplies and equipment.
  • Administer non-prescription topical ointments and lotions as directed by the client.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) not previously listed and within the scope of service and licensure.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have at least one year of paid work experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a current license.
  • Must be able to drive a car with proof of license, auto insurance, and independently access the client's residence.
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced in transfers for wheelchair-bound clients.
  • Must be reliable and punctual with attendance.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow directions.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the clients served.
