Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at the County of Santa Barbara, CA. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the provision of mental health services and substance use disorder treatment services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compound and dispense pharmaceutical drugs and prescriptions
  • Keep records of drugs, poisons, and narcotics as required by Federal and State law
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and case managers
  • Provide medication consultation at patient bedside for discharge
  • Document and record all clinically-significant drug reactions
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Pharmacist issued by the State of California
  • Comprehensive knowledge of psychopharmacology and its applications to behavioral disorders and pathologies
  • Ability to adapt to change, prioritize workflow, and work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
