Job Summary

As a Sales Lead Associate at Dollar General, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our stores by providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting registers and making bank deposits.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training).
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures, including cashier accountability and deposit control.
  • Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
