Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and inspections, to ensure equipment is running efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve service goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in forklift repair and maintenance
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer and internet software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Exerting 75 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 40 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 15 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and hazardous materials
