Job Title: Fire Safety Equipment Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Fire Safety Equipment Specialist to assist with the servicing and maintenance of fire extinguishers, while also supporting the Service Technicians in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Staging: Prepare fire extinguishers and other equipment for pickup by Service Technicians, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Field Support: Work closely with Service Technicians in the field to ensure smooth operations, including coordinating equipment and providing additional assistance as needed.
  • Fire Extinguisher Maintenance: Clean, fill, inspect, and certify fire extinguishers to ensure they are compliant with safety standards and regulations.
  • Workplace Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Customer Interaction: Assist with fielding calls from customers and prospective clients, providing information on products and services, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks requiring physical endurance.
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Willingness to obtain certification for hydro testing cylinders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
