About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist - IV Room to join our team at Inova Fairfax Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all department activities related to the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceutical preparations, in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Virginia Board of Pharmacy.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel, including pharmacy technicians.
  • Verify daily activities of pharmacy technicians and participate in performance appraisals.
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to ensure timely provision of pharmacy services.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of experience working in a hospital as a pharmacist.
  • Sterile compounding experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.
